What areas do you serve?
Routine yard and pet services stay local across our North Texas service area, including Wylie, Sachse, Murphy, Lucas, Parker, and nearby neighborhoods. Larger outdoor living, exterior repair, and backyard upgrade projects can be quoted across the DFW metroplex.
What services does Howly handle now?
Howly handles everyday yard and pet services, exterior maintenance and repair help, and larger outdoor projects. That includes lawn care, dog waste cleanup, litter support, pressure washing, mulch refreshes, fence work, gutters, drainage, grading, demo, haul-offs, custom remodels, sport courts, turf, outdoor kitchens, patios, lighting, and backyard retreats.
What is the difference between recurring service and DFW project work?
Recurring services are scheduled local visits for routine yard and pet care. DFW project work is custom quoted around the property, materials, access, timeline, and scope. The two are handled differently so a mowing visit does not get confused with a backyard build.
Do you offer outdoor living projects?
Yes. Howly can quote outdoor living projects across DFW, including covered patios, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, seating areas, privacy screens, lighting, hardscaping, turf, putting greens, and full backyard retreats.
Do you handle custom remodels?
Yes. Custom exterior remodels and outdoor upgrade projects can be scoped around the property, intended use, access, materials, and timeline. We keep the quote specific to the job instead of forcing it into a generic package.
Can you quote backyard retreats?
Yes. Backyard retreat projects can combine patios, turf, lighting, kitchens, shade structures, seating, privacy, sport areas, and other upgrades into one scoped plan.
Do you install turf and putting greens?
Yes. Pet-friendly turf areas and putting greens can be quoted across DFW. The layout, drainage needs, surface choice, and intended use all matter, so pricing is project-specific.
Can you quote sport courts and mini fields?
Yes. Howly can quote basketball courts, pickleball courts, multi-sport surfaces, backyard game zones, and mini football-style field layouts. These are custom project quotes based on space, surface, equipment, and access.
Do you build outdoor kitchens?
Outdoor kitchens, grill stations, counters, bars, and cooking setups can be quoted as outdoor living projects. Layout, utilities, materials, and access all affect the scope.
Do you offer designer outdoor lighting?

How does the quote process work?
Send the address, service needs, photos if you have them, and any timeline notes. We review the scope, ask follow-up questions when needed, then provide a real quote before work starts.
Are prices fixed or custom quoted?
Routine service pricing can start with the website builder. Larger projects are custom quoted because two properties can look similar online and still need very different work once access, materials, drainage, and scope are considered.
Do you require contracts?
No long-term contract circus for recurring services. Recurring plans run on simple scheduling and billing. Larger projects are handled through a clear scope and quote before work begins.
What happens if it rains on my scheduled service day?
Weather happens. If conditions prevent safe or clean service, we reschedule to the next available opening and communicate the change. You are not skipped without notice.
Do I need to be home for service?
Usually no for routine service, as long as we have safe access, gate notes, and pet instructions. For larger project work, access and walkthrough needs are discussed during the quote process.
Can my dog be outside during service?
Usually yes, if the dog is friendly and the setup is safe. Share behavior notes before service so we can plan the visit like adults instead of pretending every dog read the employee handbook.
Are you insured?
Yes. Howly operates with appropriate liability coverage for the services provided and uses background-checked team members. Specific coverage questions can be addressed directly before service or project work.
Do you handle permits or licensing directly?
Permit requirements depend on the project and city. We do not make blanket permit, engineering, or licensed-contractor claims. If permit considerations apply, they are discussed during planning and handled carefully based on the actual scope.
