Yes, this is real. Jayton sits at the top, the dogs run management, and the founders handle the actual work. Somehow this has produced a very solid home services company, so we are not questioning the system.

GiGi doesn't just run the company. She runs a full behavioral correction program and Taylor is her longest enrolled student with the worst attendance record. Certified service dog. More credentials than both founders combined. She communicates exclusively through meaningful eye contact, a single raised eyebrow that has ended arguments, and the kind of sigh that says “I cannot believe I have to explain this again.” She has explained it seventeen times. Results remain mixed. She has not given up on any of them. That is the most impressive thing about her.

Gracie takes her job title very seriously and would like you to know that she saw you pull up before you even turned off your car. She does not bark to be dramatic. She barks because the mailman has been pulling that same move for three years and she is not going to be the one who lets it slide. Off the clock she is a velcro dog who can go from a full coma snoring loud enough to rattle the walls, to galloping through the house at full horse speed in under two seconds with zero explanation. The transition is seamless. Cardiologists have questions. HR does not.

Beagle-Dachshund Mix, Compact, Chronically Unhinged
Kosta is small, floppy, and absolutely not okay with what is happening around here. His primary concern, and he needs everyone to hear him on this, is why humans keep collecting the poop. He has been watching. He has been documenting. He does not trust it and he wants answers. When he is not investigating, he is sniffing feet, which he considers a separate but equally important research project. He attends every meeting, contributes nothing on the record, and morale has somehow never been higher. The founding documents have been amended three times to keep him here. He knows too much.

Taylor handles the infrastructure that makes Howly run like a real company. Business systems, client experience, marketing, and the long-term vision. Also a dog dad, so no part of the pet services around here is an afterthought. GiGi would not allow it.
Reports directly to GiGi. Performance reviews are quarterly. They are not going well.

Lorenzo is the reason the work gets done right. Real work ethic, field reliability, and the kind of operational consistency that makes a service business worth recommending to a neighbor. When Lorenzo is on a job, it gets handled properly and left better than he found it.
Also reports to GiGi. Gracie approves of his work. Kosta has stolen his lunch twice.
