Meet The Team

The people in charge are not all people.

Howly is built by pet people, run with a sense of humor, and held together by a leadership structure that would make most consultants nervous. Customers seem to love it because the service still runs like a real company: background-checked team members, clear communication, and recurring plans that do not create chaos. The dogs definitely do too.

How It Works

Jayton at the top. Dogs in management. Founders in the trenches.

It sounds like a joke until you realize it perfectly explains the culture. We care about pets, take the work seriously, and do not take ourselves too seriously.

Meet The Team

The chain of command here
is a little unusual.

Yes, this is real. Jayton sits at the top, the dogs run management, and the founders handle the actual work. Somehow this has produced a very solid home services company, so we are not questioning the system.

Jayton, the boss boss at Howly Home Services
Board Chairman
Jayton
Absolute authority. No appeals process.
The dogs report to him. His word is final. He has not abused this power yet.
The Dogs (Report to Jayton. Manage everyone else.)
GiGi, CEO dog at Howly Home Services
Chief Executive Officer
GiGi
Rottweiler / Staffordshire Terrier, Certified Service Dog
GiGi doesn't just run the company. She runs a full behavioral correction program and Taylor is her longest enrolled student with the worst attendance record. Certified service dog. More credentials than both founders combined. She communicates exclusively through meaningful eye contact, a single raised eyebrow that has ended arguments, and the kind of sigh that says “I cannot believe I have to explain this again.” She has explained it seventeen times. Results remain mixed. She has not given up on any of them. That is the most impressive thing about her.
Boss EnergyNo NonsenseCertifiedAlertLoyal
Gracie on the Howly Home Services team page
Director of Yard Security
Gracie
Boxer, Backyard Patrol Professional
Gracie takes her job title very seriously and would like you to know that she saw you pull up before you even turned off your car. She does not bark to be dramatic. She barks because the mailman has been pulling that same move for three years and she is not going to be the one who lets it slide. Off the clock she is a velcro dog who can go from a full coma snoring loud enough to rattle the walls, to galloping through the house at full horse speed in under two seconds with zero explanation. The transition is seamless. Cardiologists have questions. HR does not.

Kosta, forever the all-seeing dog at Howly Home Services
Chief All-Seeing Officer — Forever
Kosta ✦
Beagle-Dachshund Mix, 13 Years, Knew Everything
Kosta lived 13 years and spent most of them knowing things he should not have known. He could read the room before you walked into it. He knew when something was wrong, when someone was lying, and when the poop had been collected incorrectly. He was Lorenzo's dog, which meant he was also everyone else's problem, in the best possible way. He attended every meeting, said nothing on record, and somehow always had the most important information in the room. He is gone now, but the Howly founding documents still list him as a permanent advisor. We did not amend that. We never will.

The Founders (Report to the dogs. Running the day-to-day. Trying their best.)
Founder Taylor, Founder
Taylor
Founder
Taylor handles the infrastructure that makes Howly run like a real company. Business systems, client experience, marketing, and the long-term vision. Also a dog dad, so no part of the pet services around here is an afterthought. GiGi would not allow it.
StrategySystemsBrandingGrowth
Reports directly to GiGi. Performance reviews are quarterly. They are not going well.
Co-Founder Lorenzo, Co-Founder
Lorenzo
Co-Founder
Lorenzo is the reason the work gets done right. Real work ethic, field reliability, and the kind of operational consistency that makes a service business worth recommending to a neighbor. When Lorenzo is on a job, it gets handled properly and left better than he found it.
Field OpsReliabilityQualityExecution
Also reports to GiGi. Gracie approves of his work. Kosta watched over every job Lorenzo ever ran for thirteen years and never once doubted him. Lorenzo carries that forward every day.
Why This Matters

Funny team page aside,
the standards are real.

The joke lands because the company is actually built around the stuff pet households care about most: trust, consistency, and people who understand what life with animals is really like.

Pet People
We actually get pet households.
This is not a generic lawn company trying to fake it. Pets are part of the DNA here, which means the work is designed around real homes, real dogs, real messes, and real routines.
Standards
Funny brand, serious execution.
The brand has personality. The work still has to be clean, reliable, and worth recommending to a neighbor. If it is not, GiGi would like a word.
Local
Built for North Texas homes.
Howly is local, pet-friendly, and built for the neighborhoods it actually serves. That means fast communication, practical service, and no weird corporate runaround.
